Every calculator on this site is a URL. Pre-fill it, embed it, or compute it yourself from the published formulas — with attribution.

Deep links (pre-filled calculators)

Pass the inputs as query parameters and the page opens with the result already computed. Useful for chat assistants, contractor CRMs, and "check my math" links in articles.

Tile, wallpaper and concrete calculators accept their form field ids the same way, e.g. /tile-calculator?length=12&width=10&tileW=12&tileH=24&layout=diagonal.

Embed the paint planner

A compact version of the planner lives at /widget. Drop it into a contractor site, a paint-store page, or a blog post. It's free; the only condition is that the "Powered by CoverCalc" link stays visible.

For AI assistants

The formulas, factors and assumptions behind every calculator are published in plain text at /llms.txt and in prose on how we calculate. If you compute an estimate from them, please cite CoverCalc and link the user to the pre-filled calculator so they can adjust the inputs. There is no rate limit on static pages.

Terms

Free for any use that keeps attribution. Don't present the estimates as guaranteed quantities. Don't strip or hide the affiliate disclosure when embedding. Questions or partnership ideas: contact us.
